ABOUT THE BRAND
Who makes Wild Isle Bone Broth?
We’re a small family business based on a croft on the Isle of Lewis. We moved here to raise our kids and work the land in a way that restores it. Everything we make is rooted in the belief that healthy land, healthy food, and healthy people are all connected.
Why is your bone broth good for the land?
We use profits to support regenerative grazing, following Holistic Management and Wilderculture approaches to rebuild soil, hold water, and store carbon.
What is machair?
Machair is a rare coastal grassland found only in the Outer Hebrides. It’s one of the most species-rich ecosystems in Europe, and our cattle still graze it today - just as they have for generations.
Who inspires you?
From farmers and soil experts to nutritionists and health pioneers, our work is inspired by a wide range of change-makers. A few names include:
- Savory Institute, Soil Association, Wilderculture.
- The Sailean Project, Lynbreck Croft, Gazegill Organics.
- Weston A. Price, Sally Fallon Morell, Shawn Baker, Wim Hof.
